The Deck is open source: 500+ stars

Just open-sourced my 2-year-old project – The Deck 🃏 (https://github.com/xajik/thedeck) When I first launched it (getthedeck.com), it got minimal traction—barely any downloads. I was not doing much about it, so I finally decided to open-source it… and boom—500+ ⭐️ in just 3 days! Safe to say, I’m a bit surprised 😳

What does this tell me?
1️⃣ Engineers love #gamedev ❤️
2️⃣ Writing a game can be more fun than playing it 🕹️

Honestly, I still think the idea is pretty cool—maybe it just needs more marketing and a little bit of G/AI 🚀

🗞️ My favorite quote from HN (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42983699)—besides all the other great feedback and suggestions: “…one of the few times I’ve seen a Dart/Flutter project on the front page of HN, and even had some non-critical comments…” - Dart doesn’t get the love it deserves! 💙
